Good Read
Reading suggestion: The Talent Code by Daniel Coyle
Though the book seems to blur the lines between talent and skill, it is a very good read for educators who are coaching teams or students. The concept of ‘deep practice’ is widely explored, using examples which range from the ‘hotbeds’ of the Renaissance and insights into Brazil’s success in producing the world’s best soccer players.
An easy read, which can help understand how skills/talent reach masterhood, but most importantly, how and why this process of learning happens.
